Estimates and pricing

Use the Home Estimate form for residential projects or the Business Estimate form for commercial, industrial and institutional projects, or call the Edmonton office at 1-800-661-9847 or the Calgary office at 1-888-220-2525. A customer representative will contact you shortly.

Supply only means Phoenix Fence supplies the fence material package for pick up or delivery and you or your contractor install it. Professionally installed means the fence is supplied and installed by Phoenix Fence crews. Both forms ask you to choose a service level.

Choose Edmonton for Edmonton and northern Alberta, and Calgary for Calgary and southern Alberta. The request is routed to the sales team at that office.

The approximate length of fence and gates in lineal feet, the fence height, and the scope of work and style. Damaged fence pictures, new site pictures, fence layout drawings or a map for site directions help too: email them to the Edmonton or Calgary office once you have sent the form.

Payments are made through the existing online payment link on the Contact page. Have your invoice number or work order number and the sales person’s name ready and enter them in the comment section of the payment form. A 2.4% convenience fee applies to credit card purchases greater than $10,000 per month. The payment process works best on a computer.

Service areas and timelines

Phoenix Fence installs from its Edmonton head office and Calgary branch, serving Edmonton, Calgary and Western Canada. Industrial and commercial fence, gate and automatic gate operator installation runs year-round.

Yes. Phoenix offers 7 days a week, 24 hours a day service for emergency fence and gate repairs and Automatic Gate Operator Systems for industrial and commercial customers. Call the main phone number at either the Edmonton (780-447-1919) or Calgary (403-259-5155) facility and follow the voicemail prompts. See Gate Service & Maintenance.

The estimate forms ask for an urgency level. The standard level is 3 to 4 weeks for residential work and low urgency is 3 to 4 weeks for commercial work, with priority and as soon as possible options for urgent projects. Timelines depend on the season, materials and site conditions and are confirmed with your quotation.

Products

Chain link mesh, pipe, gates, panels, barbed wire, staples, privacy slats and vinyl fence are stocked in Edmonton and Calgary. Ornamental fence: Ameristar Montage Majestic and Genesis are stocked in both cities and Phoenix Select is stocked in Edmonton, while Omega and the Ameristar commercial and industrial lines are special order. See Ornamental Fence. Some gate operators such as the SlideDriver 40 and the vertical pivot gate are also special order.

Galvanized, or coloured in Black, White, Brown and Green. Special order colours are available. Coloured framework has a polyester powder coat finish and the mesh has a vinyl coating fused over galvanized core wire. See Residential Coloured Chain Link.

Approximate wind load and privacy factors: Hedge Link 100%, Maximum winged slats 90%, Fence Weave 80%, Top Locking and Lite Link 75%. Diamond Lock gives up to 80% and Diamond Lock II up to 95%. See Privacy Slats & Screening.

Phoenix Fence warrants materials and installations to be free from defects in materials and workmanship. Periods vary by product: galvanized chain link 5 years and coloured chain link 8 years on materials, limited lifetime on Ameristar ornamental and Homeland vinyl, 20 years on Karbon Premium, 7 to 25 years on privacy slats, and 1 year on gate operators, with 1 year labour on all installations.
