Privacy Slats & Screening

Six ways to add privacy or safety to chain link, from the most economical to near total screening. All stocked styles are available from both the Edmonton and Calgary yards.

Phoenix Fence is a stocking distributor of Maximum Winged Privacy Slats which provide the utmost level of privacy and aesthetics for any Residential, Commercial or Industrial Chain Link Fence. With the proven quality and durability of our standard slats plus unique "wings" for extra screening and security, these slats are installed using a bottom channel system.

Maximum Slats are manufactured with Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (EVA) and ultraviolet inhibitors, specifically designed to retard the harmful effects of the sun and lengthen the life of the product.

Features:

• Design: Maximum Winged Slats are flat and tubular in shape, with wings on both sides and a horizontal bottom locking channel.
• Fast and easy installation: Simply thread the flexible locking channel horizontally through the bottom diamond of mesh. Then insert the slats vertically from the top downward to lock into the bottom channel.
• Wind load and privacy factor: Approximately 90%
• Warranty: 25 year pro-rated against breakage

Phoenix Edmonton and Calgary stock six standard colours (White, Black, Brown, Green, Beige and Grey) each in three heights (4', 5' & 6'). Special order heights are available up to 12'. Available by special order are three alternate colours of Redwood, Light Blue and Dark Blue each in heights of 3' through 12'.

Phoenix Fence is a stocking distributor of Top Lock Privacy Slats which provide an economical and attractive way to enhance the privacy of any Residential, Commercial or Industrial Chain Link Fence. The locking system is located near the top of the slats to ensure a clean, straight edge along the top of the fence, further enhancing its appearance.

Features:

• Design: Top-Locking Slats are flat and tubular in shape, with circular, notched out holes located near the top of the slat.
• Fast and easy installation: There is no need to kneel down. Simply insert the slats vertically from top to bottom, keeping the locking holes on top. Then thread the flexible locking channel horizontally through the notched holes in the slats. These holes are elliptical to ensure they always stay open for fast and easy threading.
• Wind load and privacy factor: Approximately 75%
• Warranty: 25 year pro-rated against breakage

Manufactured using the same durable, outdoor plastic as our standard tubular fence slats, this single wall "M" shaped slat will give you the visual screening and colour enhancement you desire at a very affordable price. Lite Link also uses our patented, bottom-locking system for fast and easy installation.

Features:

• Design: Compact and lightweight, Lite Link's unique shape enables this slat to self stack. A package the size of a 2" x 4" x slat length contains enough material to cover 10 linear feet, making this product easy to ship and efficient to store.
• Fast and easy installation: Simply thread the flexible locking channel horizontally through the bottom diamond of mesh. Then insert the slats vertically from the top downward to lock into the bottom channel.
• Wind load and privacy factor: Approximately 75%
• Warranty: 7 year pro-rated against breakage

Phoenix Fence is a stocking distributor of Safety Top Cap which provides both safety and aesthetics for Residential, Commercial or Industrial Chain Link Fence. The unique design provides safety protection against bodily injury by covering the exposed knuckles or barbs on top of a chain link fence. As well, Safety Top Cap displays nicely as a decorative trim piece to complement any galvanized or coloured chain link fence system. Don't settle for competitive designs and styles that pose an installation challenge, do not blend with the natural contours on the top of the fence, or offer our impressive, long-term warranty.

• Design: Manufactured from HDPE plastic with ultraviolet stabilizers, specifically designed to retard the harmful effects of the sun and lengthen the life of the product
• Easy installation: Simply "snap" over the top of the chain link mesh and secure in place with the steel hog rings supplied.
• Standard size: Each package contains 40 feet of Safety Top Cap in five 8 foot lengths.
• Warranty: 25 year pro-rated against breakage

Phoenix Fence is a stocking distributor of Hedge Link Privacy Slats which is one of the most unique privacy enhancements for any Residential, Commercial or Industrial Chain Link Fence. The colour and texture of Hedge Link has been carefully chosen to ensure a natural appearance even when viewing Hedge Link up close. The density of our product actually obscures the chain link mesh from view. The resulting look is that of a finely trimmed evergreen hedge that blends in with the natural foliage.

Hedge Link Slats are flame retardant as well as UV stabilized to retard the harmful effects of the sun and lengthen the life of the product.

Features:

• Design: 3 millimetre Blue Spruce coloured PVC needles specially inserted into a 16 gauge, braided galvanized wire core.
• Fast and easy installation: Simply insert the Hedge Link slats vertically from top to bottom.
• Wind load and privacy factor: Approximately 100%
• Warranty: 10 year pro-rated against breakage

• Design: Manufactured from flexible polyethylene extrusion (LDPE)
• Fast and easy installation: Simply weave diagonally into the mesh and secure the ends with brass clips.
• Standard size: Each roll is 250 feet long and covers approximately 40 square feet of fence.
