Installation

Phoenix manufactures Vinyl Fence systems one of two proven methods of installation; “Post Mounting” (the industry standard and preferred choice of professional contractors) and Traditional “Dig & Pour.”

Post Mounting

Post Mounting Installation does not require digging post holes or cementing in fence posts by utilizing an innovative “Post Socket” system. The installation procedure involves 1-7/8″ or 2-3/8″ O.D. (0.083″ or Schedule 40 Wall) Round Hot Dip Galvanized Post being pounded 3 to 4 feet into the ground. Two Post Sockets are then attached to the 1-7/8″ or 2-3/8″ post (one at the top and one at the bottom). Then the 5″ x 5″ Vinyl Fence Post is “Sleeved” over and attached to the posts socket assemblies. Post Mounting Installation is more forgiving for the Do-It-Yourself Home Owner as there are no post holes to be dug nor is there a requirement for concrete (except on reinforced gate hinge posts). Future fence repairs and re-alignments are easily accomplished through simple disassembly and adjustment of a post mounted fence system. Refer to “Pro Vinyl Post Mount Installation Manual” for detailed step-by-step instructions.

Standard Mount Installation

Standard Mount installation is based on traditional procedure of digging postholes and the cementing in the fence posts. Refer to “Pro Vinyl Standard Installation Manual” for detailed step-by-step instructions.
